People who have cars with lots of safety features?

You're driving in a more daring than you if you do not have these security features (including antilock brakes, stability control and curtain airbags). Did you drive faster or more turns fast (even in the rain) If you think this safety equipment will "save" you?

The value is not added security features can not be stupid. Driving too fast for conditions, regardless of vehicle safety features is dangerous. Even if they would stop hurting me, if you collide with something, the damage my car (and my wallet)

How much space should have a cat jump over a baby gate?

How high the door I need, in other Lower …

I'm sure it depends on the cat. I have seen cats that can jump much higher than mine can. But also, cats like to jump over things above, not on them. While not accommodate narrow doors. I use a 30 "door with my cat, and maybe that the Berlin Wall. It is up, so there is no place for her to run.

The loading dock of a national retailer, a compressor is unloading 450 pounds of a truck when the truck is mounted compressor fell on his leg a worker. The employee had a broken leg and dislocated ankle. A safety inspector's report revealed that the retailer has failed to ensure that materials, articles or things, including the compressor, requires to be lifted, transported or displaced, must be lifted, carried or moved in a manner and with such precautions and safeguards, including clothes security guards or other precautions to ensure that the lifting, carrying or moving of materials, articles or things that do not put in endanger the safety of a worker's refusal to obey safety rules has been published. The court agreed with the investigation and was found guilty and imposed retailer fined $ 75,000.

What could have done to prevent this accident and court procedures? Work on the health and safety plan. The health and safety plans and procedures are effective only if used. A three-day inspection documented that Dolly and loading procedures would have prevented this accident. ABB Safety Net provides support for maintaining a health and safety program. Email notifications are provided as a reminder of up and coming events to maintain a health and safety law. Appropriate training and documented daily truck safety have prevented this case, a fine and reduction of accidents occurring in the first place.

A work program:
1) Improve employee morale shows the care of their Wellness
2) reducing the revenue losses, fewer accidents at work to keep employees and reduced insurance premiums and may also lead to discounts on insurance
3) Give a drive customers have fewer accidents, all employees are available to work

Write a health and safety is a huge task and frustrating. Where to start? ABB Safety Net can help. ABB Safety Net will issue a written plan with the name of your company for your business. Secondly ABB safety network to provide an assessment of the danger of their company car (no one knows your business better than you). In addition to ABB network security research requirements in your area to make your program complies with legal requirements such as: "Do you need a formal committee?", "the need for first aid training? "" What should be displayed? "Or even be" certified?

Now the plan is ready writing what next? You have to live and maintain the plan. The documentation is for your protection and employee. ABB Safety Net will provide an employee safety manual and a form to sign. ABB Safety Net also provide simple ways to start-ups per day, the passage through monthly meetings, quarterly and annual meetings. To help you maintain your plan health and safety, safety net ABB these forms of e-mail as a reminder of their events when they are due. ABB safety net for the same e-mail to random fire drill to test the fire safety.

What happens when an accident occurs? With a roadmap in place, you have all the necessary forms and has all the papers in place. You even an investigation procedure in place to help prevent recurrence. If an accident occurs, an investigation was conducted by you and not by the safety inspector. You should come to the first conclusion and the report ready before the safety inspector stopped by.

Now, how answer these questions from a safety inspector: "Where is your plan for health and safety?" This is our plan we are very proud, and our accident rate is almost zero. "Where is the documentation of this injured worker safety?" "Here are all of the documentation safety training. It is unfortunate that this accident. Here is our report of accident investigation and our conclusions on how to avoid it happening again. "

Dar ABB Safety Net call (416) 276-0017 or send an email to ABBSafetyNet@gmail.com for help plan their health and safety and maintenance today.

Is it safe to mount a TV 52 "flat screen above the fireplace?

I moved to an apartment that has a fireplace and enough space for an entertainment center in the living room. The loan officer said the lease can mount a TV Above the fireplace with your permission. Is it an option sure to put the TV? I heard people go on television in the fireplace, but I still have any safety problems.

Although technically is possible, I would not recommend it. I visited several houses with flat screen mounted on the mantelpiece. Even after only a few hours I leave with a sore neck to look so tall. This is simply not a natural angle of vision.
