When do you move a baby in a crib, cradle, and what are they used?

Juliette is a week, so obviously a little early but seeing as we're wayyy Anna in the end, I was curious to see where you thought it was the best time? We just spent $ 100 on a beautiful bed with Anna we have a sale garage. My daughter 3 weeks shit 2 times per day. is yellow granules. Is this normal for a baby?
