what is causing the battery indicator on my monitor flash BSL til heated?

I tested the control solution and all that. I do not think the battery LED will blink if it was cold (my room is not that cold) but the monitor is turned on (light flashing on the battery) and charges up to code "16" or what is on the side of the container. ER4 said then. I raised my eyes and do troubleshooting. then it works well if the monitor has warmed. what happens?
