What is the best way to temporarily replace the car window?

My driver's side window of my car was broken and I have a replacement. The only problem is that I have to go on a drive of 200 miles at home (college) and want to know what is the best window time to fill the time. I imagine the bags of garbage that will collapse and will not provide any sideview the tape in place with gorilla tape, tape strong
