Is it safe to mount a TV 52 "flat screen above the fireplace?

I moved to an apartment that has a fireplace and enough space for an entertainment center in the living room. The loan officer said the lease can mount a TV Above the fireplace with your permission. Is it an option sure to put the TV? I heard people go on television in the fireplace, but I still have any safety problems.

Although technically is possible, I would not recommend it. I visited several houses with flat screen mounted on the mantelpiece. Even after only a few hours I leave with a sore neck to look so tall. This is simply not a natural angle of vision.

A simple definition of combinations of personal protection is an article of clothing worn by people to reduce their exposure to hazards in the workplace.

Protective clothing and equipment is available to almost every body part and type of material used will depend on the protection required. Some of the common areas needing protection and examples of how the area can be protected are the protection of the body with clothing Overalls, cotton drill work, jackets and pants, aprons, clothing, heat resistant and high visibility, protection of coated steel feet with safety boots, waterproof boots and slip-resistant shoes, and the hand protection of cotton, leather, PVC or nitrile gloves.

Body Protection

It is sometimes easy to forget the use of protective clothing case, but the fact is that helps protect against accidents. Protective clothing with the following important points should be addressed:

– Ensure that safety standards are met by appropriate safety clothing

– Make sure that each element of adequate protective clothing for each specific risk rather than work

– Ensure the worker's clothes

– Provide and receive training in proper use of protective clothing

– Provide / Get additional training to ensure supervisors who understand their role in implementing the use and wearing of protective clothing

– Ensure that all protective clothing is cleaned and maintained properly

Hi Visibility Clothing

This A wide range of Hi Vis clothing available for workers who need visibility into their workplace. They are jackets high vis-à-vis work shirts Hello, pants and jackets. The selection and use of clothing High visibility is governed by the Standard High visibility clothing (safety AS / NZS 4602:1999) which details the requirements of personal safety clothing to increase capacity for users seen. The materials used in the design and manufacture of high visibility clothing for safety must be fluorescent and reflection. Below is a guide simple rule:

Category Clothing Category D – the day outdoors only – uses fluorescent materials – high visibility material must surround the torso top – visible area of 0.4m2 min

Class N – For use at night when viewed under retroreflective conditions such as lighting the headlights of vehicles – Should be 50 mm strips of retroreflective material conform to Class A AS / NZS 1906.4 specific band configurations

Class D / N – day or night, dawn, nightfall or bad weather when the illumination of lighthouses – Must use retro reflective tape and fluorescent materials

Disposable Protective Clothing

The value of disposable protective clothing is often seen in the argument: "Why spend money on items that occurs when I wash what I wear now. What companies do not recognize the risk of contamination of normal clothes and disposable clothing eliminates this risk, provide full body protection.

Hair, sweat, dust, bacteria, viruses and clothing child can be part of the contaminants that do not want to reach their workplace and can contaminate the work environment and manufacturing products. The chemicals, aerosols, dust and water are some of the pollutants may want to avoid contact with your physical body. You can more easily control evacuation and re-issuance of new clothes and not worry about the collection, washing and cleaning reusable items.

Disposable protective clothing is usually polypropylene material is lightweight, durable, flexible and economical.

To sell or hold: Safety vest?

I have a Tipperary (eventing not) vest. From now on, I not need to do with the height I jumped. I put to her, or sell and then buy another 1 in the future when I need more? I do not know if is still clean in time you really need. It's new – never used

Since you really do not lose any value, you may consider to keep and sell when you need a new jacket. This
