Seven rooms was founded in 1994 by Brechtje Olsthoorn. This Netherlands-based company actually started and ran like a collection of clothing accessories bed until the founder had his own children in 2003. Following this line of clothing for children was added to the company with a growing number of popular beds.

Ms Olsthoorn had grown up watching his mother and the father of design and construction of Dutch children Brand, Oilily.
