Pacifier Thermometer
Pacifier Thermometer

Acceptable temperature?
I just finished feeding my daughter a month and I noticed that his face was very red and slightly warm. His face was flushed toilets to try, or growls, etc. I have a pacifier thermometer that measures temperature by mouth and temperature of thirty minutes was 99.2 degrees. Is this a normal temperature for children? When they become "too high?" I'm waiting for pediatric triage nurse to call back, but I thought I would also ask here too.
Both my son month old just got a low rating (99.2 to 100.0), I had the fever for almost two weeks. Never developed other symptoms beyond the mouth. Never cough or nose / runny stuffy nose, etc. that led to his pediatrician twice and she told me that he had no other symptoms that he only had a cold / virus and that time would be better. I was worried anyway, but he remained in contact with it through two weeks. He continued that while he was eating, diapering, and was acting it was fine. She said that if the fever is gone to 100.4 or suddenly got very demanding and inconsolable at the back. He never did, and only worried about him for two consecutive weeks. I am happy said he did not low-temperature days. In infants under three months do not think that is a fever until it reaches 100.4. I also say to get another type of thermometer. Pacifiers are not too specific. I just received an underarm Red Cross The American brand of browsing temp for $ 9.99 at Toys R Us is faster and more accurate for babies that young with the exception of the rectal temperature. And I I not going there with my baby. I'll leave the rectal temperature to your doctor!
Good luck and do not worry too much!
