Has anyone had problems with the baby quiet Sounds Day and Night Handheld Color Video Monitor?

I bought this monitor 2 weeks and now does not work. When I turn on the screen does not light. This refusal, not more than 1 minute, then stops. So, basically, I have sound. Has anyone else had this problem? If not, what have you done? I know I should contact the manufacturer, but I just curious if this happened to someone else. They are not cheap monitors.

Many people have reported problems with all brands of video monitors. Apparently, a technology that does not work very well when so inexpensive (cheap is a relative term).
