I live in a 3rd floor apartment, how can I get an apartment on the 1st floor?

I read my lease and did not About the transfer to another apartment in the same complex. My husband and I have a son and a dog in May and wait again. It is very difficult to take my son and my dog leash 3 sets of stairs down and theres no lift. This type on the first floor, moves the end of this month and see if maybe I could move and enter his apartment. Is this possible? Has anyone heard or done this before? Tell me what can I do? Please help!

If you stay in the same complex, must be able to do. Just notify the office location of the problem. Is likely to sign a new lease, but must be able to jump and hold a deposit security, etc.
