How can get rid of pests naturally? We hate the pests and insects. Over the years, Fleur Depot Inc. and its flower farms have learned some tricks to get rid of pests naturally.

Healthy plants and soil health: An easier way of control pests on the farm is avoided in! Flower Depot has learned that healthy plants are healthy defenses. Like us, when we are weak, we are more likely to the disease. The weaker plants are already infected or draw more predators. What we do in our Philippines Horticulture is pull-out or dispose of the weaker plants. Please note that your most important defense is to have a healthy soil. Healthy soils grow strong plants and vibrant. We keep our soils in full composting with natural methods such as mulching and use of compost or natural fertilizer for the soil.

Minimize habitats of insects: Make sure you do not have the breeding sites in your area for insects. In our flower farm in the Philippines, regularly clean our greenhouses, ensuring that they are free of debris and weeds, the breeding of insects.

Keep dried leaves: insects and fungi grow in wet leaves. Wet leaves also spread the disease. In our flower farm in the Philippines, using drip irrigation methods irrigate our plants. Drip irrigation provides water to the roots of plants without wetting the leaves. How do you do? Small holes are inserted into various points of a sleeve, allowing small amounts of water to flow slowly into the soil for long periods of time. Another advantage of this method is to save water. Unlike the systems irrigation water use 30-50% less, applying directly to the area where the plants need it most. Drip irrigation also prevents soil erosion and runoff nutrients.

Take advantage of beneficial insects: Actually, there are any bugs or pests that are good for your farm or garden. For example, ladybugs eat aphids, mites, whiteflies and scale (the worst pests for flowers.) This is the reason that only sissies love and care of these insects on the farm.

Make your own home or pesticide sprays barriers:

Flypaper: Do you know that all heavy paper or cardboard, painted yellow and covered with something sticky fly may be an effective? In our firm, we use recycled hard plastic containers, colored yellow and then put sticky substances on them. It is just in our greenhouses and catches pesky aphids and white flies!

Neem Extract: Flower Depot takes many of neem on the farm. Neem has remarkable powers for controlling insects. Its extract is used as a safe, natural pesticides. It is unique because neem does not kill insects immediately. Instead, it modifies the behavior of an insect or life processes in a way that can be very subtle. Finally, however, the insect can not feed or reproduce or metamorphosis, and can not cause damage. Because of this subtle approach, protected our cultures, people and animals.

Fish emulsion: Flower Depot replaced mixtures of chemical pesticides in our fish emulsion. What is this? Fish wastes, If you read the entrails of the fish right dirty and messy! We meet all traces of fish markets, crushed and mixed with an enzyme. We need to review the bones and decant oil, and what remains is fish silage. Furthermore, the enzymes and then in the background to digest and break down into amino acids. More than one pesticide, doubles as a great fertilizer. Fish emulsions are wonderful sources of nutrients!

So there. You can really get rid of those pesky flies and other insects without spraying you and your beautiful flower decoctions chemicals! Just a bit of creativity, while using the wisdom of nature.
