Do you think I lost the baby?

I was very worried that I lost the baby (I'm about 10 weeks pregnant, but is not sure of my dates). I have an ultrasound coming marriage. The M / W could not hear the heartbeat of the machine paperback of my appointment, and she could not feel my belly. Anyway, paranoid, I tried again, and the line is much smaller than it was 6 weeks ago, was the same type of test. I tested this morning, but was not my first trip to the bathroom. I am so worried that the baby died. Do you think that a small line can point to this result?

Your uterus not out of the pool until 12 weeks, so it is very difficult to hear the fetal heart with Doppler. Pregnancy test showed clearly positive, if you are probably pregnant again. It is unfortunate that your midwife has not told him she did not hear the heartbeat so soon. Not even trying to listen if you can feel the uterus and I'm always sure that my moms are aware of the reasons why I did not listen. In my experience to cause premature to try to hear exactly the same kind of anxiety you do now. You can go to your doctor, but you can find will do nothing unless you have pain or bleeding, because what we do find your story wrong. The only way whether it is still pregnant an ultrasound and, unfortunately, most units are so busy they can not offer scans to reassure themselves. I think you should tell the midwife that made you feel anxious, not help, but could they do think twice before putting another mother through this anxiety. I apologize on behalf of midwives for their lack of sensitivity and information. Good Luck
