How to make baby food homemade?

I make my own baby food. But I'm not sure what the best tool what it is. I have heard of baby special equipment, but I really wanted to get something more than a job. As a mixer hand or something for most foods. I also use a blender too. And do not forget the power of a fork and your muscles! In particular for bananas, avocados, etc. I use a steamer basket in a steamer or electric, too. It is a great book called "First Meals" and the link below. Very good for the baby through the toddler. I am on my 2nd baby and so I do what I did. But if I had to start from scratch and it has a little money to spend, I would get the BABYCOOK. It is awesome.
