What value is temperature in my refrigerator freezer be?

I have a refrigerator. The refrigerator is on the top and the bottom freezer. Both have separate doors. Adjustments in the refrigerator 1-6. What value should be defined? East 1 the cooler and warmer or 6 on 1, the warmest and coldest 6? Thank you. Xx
