Baby Monitors

Im thinking of buying one of those baby monitors that are placed next to the bed and wonder if Childs
radio frequency of a baby monitor can be collected in a police scanner programmed, a friend said he did not believe, but before I buy one for my new grandson, I wonder if people can hear?
YES! Baby monitors can be controlled if accessing the versions of the cheapest. Get one that says on the package: 1) Spread Spectrum 2) scrambled or encrypted 3) Digitial As this combination Digitial Spread Spectrum would be best. Baby monitors operate in one of the two bands of 46-49MHZ and 902-928MHZ. Most economic nothing more than a radio transmitter with a receiver that anyone can capture and control. Some recent and more expensive to use the 902-928MHz band and use technology more modern, like mobile and wireless broadcast spectrum in which the transmitter frequency changes very rapidly with time. Fisher Price, etc. All versions are not easily controlled in most models less expensive. Read the package if you do not see "spread spectrum" digital "and" scrambled " or "scrambled" DONT buy the package.
